Awesome place, easy to park, in fact closer to Burlingame
than San Mateo. Great welcoming, love the display room, has a lot of choice and
a lot of natural light and windows which help making a wise decision about the
color you like for carpet. They do an excellent job in advising you and the
staff is just so so so nice. Highly recommend Step Ahead.

This was my second experience w/ Step Ahead Carpet. They
installed hard wood floors for the living & dining rooms of my house in
2003. I remembered it as being a great experience. When I was ready to do the
upstairs, I did a little looking around, just to see what was out there. Long
story short, I went back to Step Ahead & I am very glad I did. Linda in the
showroom worked hard to find the right flooring at the best price for me. Andy
the owner showed up to measure exactly when he said he would. The very
talented installer & his partner also started when they said they would,
were on time daily, & completed the job when they said they would. They
even put felt tips under every piece of furniture I have. I hate to say it, but
this kind of service is rare today.

My wife and I walked into the new showroom for Step Ahead

Barb. She was truly a show(wo)man. She hooked us in and sold us on a fabulous
pad and decent carpet at a great price.
The carpet installation was timely and it looks great. We shopped around
for wood flooring for our living room and hallway and almost went with
Lowes. Step Ahead was a little above
Lowes, but I felt that the quality and trust factor would be better served by
Andrew and his team. We were not
disappointed! We went with the
engirneered wood, but it still looks amazing.
